Hypermobility Workshop

Tanya recently attended a hypermobility workshop. She said it was super interesting... “mostly because we are coming across more and more people that have it and it causes all sorts of physical issues including IBS, reflux etc due to the muscles of the digestive system being a bit slow and lax also! Pilates is relevant as it works all the deep stabilising muscles which is essential. Also this type of body gets very tired since their muscles have to work twice as hard to perform a simple task! So often Pilates, swimming, walking are the ideal forms of exercise! There was also a whole section on psychological issues like anxiety that were related to the condition too. A lot of this describes me to a tee so I could really relate to it….”
